We are excited to invite you to the
LS2 Annual Meeting 2026, Switzerland’s premier life sciences event, held at the Irchel Campus of the
University of Zürich from
February 11 to 12, 2026! The meeting will kick off with the
Young Scientists’ Satellite on
February 10. We hope to bring together researchers from across Switzerland and beyond to share knowledge, promote collaboration, and explore the latest scientific breakthroughs.
This year’s theme, "Fueling Life Across Scales," emphasizes the essential role of energy in biology, from molecules to entire organisms. Be sure to attend keynote lectures by renowned scientists Sarah-Maria Fendt, Heidi McBride, and Jennifer Lippincott-Schwartz, covering topics like cancer biology, mitochondria, metabolism, and advanced imaging technologies!
The
program also includes
11 symposia,
14 invited speakers,
two poster sessions, a
Young Scientists’ Satellite (featuring 2 keynote speakers and a workshop), and a lively
industry exhibition. Whether you are a senior researcher, an early-career scientist, or just beginning your studies, this is your chance to showcase your work, connect with peers, and participate in engaging scientific discussions. Numerous
opportunities are available for
industry partners to showcase and gain new contacts.
Submit your abstract by
November 9, 2025, for a chance to be selected for a talk in one of the symposia or at the YSS! All submitted abstracts will receive a guaranteed poster slot and be automatically entered into the
poster prize competition! We especially encourage
early-career researchers to participate!
We look forward to welcoming you to Zürich for an inspiring and collaborative meeting!
