I offer tailor-made German courses for employees, researchers, and academic professionals at Bio-Technopark Schlieren. The lessons can be adapted to your individual needs, interests, and professional context.
Depending on your objectives, lessons can focus on:
- Standard German – developing overall skills in speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary
- Professional German – meetings, presentations, emails, workplace communication, CV preparation, and job interviews
- Academic German – communicating confidently in research and academic environments
- Conversation – building fluency, confidence, and speaking skills
- Grammar & Vocabulary – targeted practice and clarification, focusing on your needs
- Exam Preparation – targeted preparation for German language certification exams and specific exam requirements
Individual lessons
These are one-to-one lessons that are tailored to your goals and needs, maximizing your learning.
- CHF 85 per 60-minute lesson (not 45 as in most schools)
Group courses
These can be classic group language lessons, but also group lessons tailored to specific requests and needs. Importantly, the lessons will be at the Bio-Technopark! And time will be arranged depending on the specific group needs!

- 3–4 participants: CHF 100 per 60-minute lesson for the entire group (~ 25-35CHF/person)
- 5–8 participants: CHF 120 per 60-minute lesson for the entire group (~15-25CHF/person)
German during your lunch break
30-minute conversation sessions: a relaxed opportunity to practise speaking German regularly in a small group – perfect for a lunch break.
- CHF 10 per participant / 30 minutes (minimum 3 participants)
About me
I'm Christin Viets, originally from northern Germany. I teach German as a foreign language since 2016 and previously worked as a German language lecturer at the University of Göttingen, teaching and preparing language certification exams.
Since 2024, I work as free-lance teacher for UZH and ETH professors and researchers, and for international employees of big corporations based in Zurich.
